Hiring Technical Project Manager in Tehran

Job description

• Responsible for planning and overseeing projects within an organization, coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives
• Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering. Other engineering fields would be acceptable under the circumstances.
• Experience: 3-5 years of project management and related experience.

Roles & responsibilities

• Determine and define project scope and objectives based on project contract
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements (Preparing WBS & CBS)
• Monitor project progress and set deadlines (Preparing Time-Schedule)
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Review technical & financial documents
• Prepare progress reports & contractor invoice
• Attend to meetings and negotiations with client

Key skills & attributes

• General engineering knowledge
• Administrative communication by written correspondence
• Elementary English language level
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word)
• Familiarity with technical software tools (e.g., Autodesk AutoCAD)
• Possibility of short-time travel to project sites (2-5 days)
• Establish a good working relationship with the ‘senior responsible owner’
• Build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project
• Get technical-financial inquiry from suppliers for standard equipment
• Apply quality management principles and processes
