Summary
- We are seeking a motivated and savvy Content Writer to join our content team in a fast-paced remote work environment
- We require writers who are driven to succeed, have a way with words, and keep up with the Content industry. Our Content Writers write blog posts, articles, and webpages for one or more of our clients
- To excel in this role, you must have experience in writing content, as well as excellent English and organizational skills
Job Responsibilities
- Developing error-free content for blogs, product descriptions, and the company website.
- Follow an editorial schedule and coordinate with a representative to craft articles based on briefs.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends in the Content Writing industry.
- Use basic SEO strategies in writing to maximize the visibility of the works.
- Carefully proofread content before submitting
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Good time management skills, including adapting, scheduling, and prioritizing as necessary
- Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms, slangs, and expressions
- Strict adherence to the style of clients and their policies
- Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Bonus
- Degree specifically in Journalism or English
- Understanding of SEO
- Working knowledge of content management systems
- Familiarity with AP style
- A portfolio of published articles
