The Role
- He will be responsible for receiving all bank currency permissions from CBI (A to Z)
- He will be in charge of shipping documents as well as ensuring regulatory requirements and proper documentation are released to customs broker in a timely manner
- He should be expert in all stages of import processes
- He will be accountable for production quality control & inspection, controlling mass production against artwork order files and technical specification sheets
- He will supervise the packing, ensuring it is done according to the defined quantity & quality
- He will need to liaise product arrivals with Marketing department
Requirements
- At least 5 years of RECENT experience in import
- Fluent in English language (excellent in oral and written business communication)
- Very high level of accuracy due to the detailed nature of the work
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Knowledgeable in the field of commercial legislation
- Ability to solve problems relatively independently
- Proactive, dynamic & enthusiastic
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good team work
- Ability to work under pressure and manage work through prioritizing
- Punctual with good time management skills: Someone who doesn’t need to be followed up by senior managers and instead can report before a follow up comes due
